Alliance Tower Defense Roblox How to Beat Easy City
The Cameraman solo method: place, max, Auto Skip, collect coins, repeat.
This walkthrough is the practical answer to “how do I beat Easy” and “how do I farm coins” in Alliance Tower Defense. It is based on a real beginner strategy video that uses a single Cameraman in a 1-player Easy City match: place the unit, max it, enable Auto Skip, and ride the waves back to the lobby. A second video from the same creator teaches the same map without skipping first. This page merges both so you do not need two articles for one lane.
If you have not seen the lobby yet, read Getting Started first. This page assumes you can find the mode picker and the leave button.
Setup in the lobby
- Equip Cameraman. Empty slots are worse than a duplicate common. If Large Scientist or TV Titan is already in your inventory, you may bring them, but the documented solo clear does not require them.
- Open the match launcher. Choose 1-player so other people cannot steal placements or skip votes.
- Choose Easy and City. If the picker labels changed after a patch, pick the lowest difficulty on the urban map.
- Do not spend your last coins on summons right before this run. You need a calm first placement, not a new unit you have never upgraded. Budgeting lives on the Summoning page.
In-match sequence
- Place one Cameraman on the City funnel — the corner or choke where the path is closest to a wide buildable pad. Spreading three un-upgraded copies is how Easy leaks.
- Max that Cameraman with match cash as soon as the upgrade buttons light up. The beginner video is explicit: one unit, fully upgraded, before you get fancy.
- Auto Skip. The later strategy clip turns skip on after the max. The earlier method clip tells you not to skip until you have copied the placements. If a wave jumps ahead of your upgrade, turn skip off for one wave, spend, then turn it back on.
- Boss wave. Stay on the Cameraman. Panic-placing a second unmaxed body rarely beats a maxed one on Easy.
- Late waves. Showcase footage of harder content shows a toilet army and TV Titan pressure. Easy City should not need that roster. If you still leak, you under-upgraded, not under-summoned.
- Return to lobby, take coins, queue again. That loop is the Coin farming tool in prose form.
Why this method works
Easy City is tuned as a teaching map. Pathing is readable, cash income is enough to finish one unit, and Auto Skip removes the dead time between waves. The method fails when players treat Easy like a gacha commercial: they summon in the lobby, bring a random rare they cannot afford to upgrade, and skip into a wave with half a kit.
Cameraman is not the endgame. It is the unit that proves you understand place then max. Once Easy is free, you take that habit to other layouts on the Maps and modes page and you start evaluating Large Scientist as early DPS using Best units.
When to stop farming Easy
Stop treating Easy as the whole game when:
- You can clear it while looking at chat, not at the path.
- You have coins sitting unused and a patch just added units — see Updates.
- You own TV Titan or Large Scientist and you are still afraid to leave Easy. Those units want harder modes for better coin-per-minute, not another City tutorial.
Keep Easy as a warm-up during a timed 2x title event. Double coins on a map you cannot lose is the point of the event window described on Events and passes.
Common failures
- Auto Skip on wave one with zero upgrades. You skipped the only thing the method cares about.
- Placing on the path. Units that block tiles waste the funnel. Controls for camera and placement are on Controls & UI.
- Leaving mid-run. You still get some coins, but you break the muscle memory this page is teaching.
- Buying x2 Game Speed expecting it to replace maxing. That pass was off sale at last check. Speed is not a substitute for upgrades. See the Gamepass guide.
After the clear
Bank a third of the coins. Spend the rest only if a slot is empty or Cameraman is your only unit. Cross-check pulls on the Tier List. If you want a second body on the field, Team Builds explains when a second placement is an upgrade and when it is a leak.
Sibling guides in this category: Getting Started, Summoning, Maps and modes, Strategy, and Controls & UI. Use Easy until the path is boring, then let Strategy take over.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Can I beat Easy City with only Cameraman?
Yes. A documented beginner strategy places one Cameraman, maxes it, and uses Auto Skip in a 1-player Easy City match.
When should I turn on Auto Skip?
After the first Cameraman is placed and upgraded. If skip jumps a wave before you can spend match cash, turn it off for that wave.
Do I need Large Scientist or TV Titan for Easy?
No. Those units help later. Easy City is the Cameraman teaching map.
Is this the same as Toilet Tower Defense Easy mode?
No. Follow Alliance Tower Defense’s City picker and this page’s steps, not another game’s crate or gold tables.
How does this become a coin farm?
Repeat the clear, especially during a 2x title event. The Coin farming tool page turns the loop into a session checklist.
