Alliance Tower Defense Roblox How to Play the New Mode

On 27 August 2026 the official Roblox Games API showed the experience name tagged NEW MODE (Alliance Tower Defense, universe 10393438342). A 29 August 2026 recheck still showed that tag, about 2,722 playing, about 5.81 million visits, and a last official update of 28 August 2026 22:12 UTC. Title tags rotate — a 2x coin window had been in the name earlier the same week — so this page is the playbook for any advertised new queue, not a leaked atlas of unpublished map names. Medium Mode is a named difficulty covered separately; use Medium Mode when that label is on the picker.

This wiki will not invent a mode title the picker has not printed in verified Alliance Tower Defense footage. Early showcase counts still said four maps and modes. City, Easy, and 1-player remain the documented starter. When the live picker shows a new row, use this page. When it does not, farm Easy City and ignore thumbnail panic.

What NEW MODE in the title actually means

The Roblox experience name is advertising, not a patch note. Developers use it for 2x timers, limited shops, and new queues. Clicking Play still loads the same lobby: summon altar, team panel, mode picker. Walk the picker once after every title change. If a new difficulty or layout is there, it is real. If the picker is unchanged, the tag is hype for a shop drop or a coming switch. Confirm against the in-game update log and the Updates Hub.

Probe order that does not wipe your coins

1. Re-clear 1-player Easy City with a maxed Cameraman. If that farm broke, the patch touched the teaching map and you need Controls and UI before you touch the new row. Details: Easy City walkthrough.
2. Open the mode picker. Note the lowest new difficulty on the same map you already know, or the new layout on its easiest setting. Do not stack a brand-new lane with a brand-new difficulty on the first attempt. That rule already lives on Maps and modes; this page is why it exists this week.
3. Queue 1-player. A 35-player server will skip you into a wave you have never seen. Multiplayer explains when public queues are worth it.
4. Equip the most boring maxable carry — usually Cameraman. Team Builds Build E is the probe loadout. TV Titan and Large Scientist wait until the funnel is readable.
5. Place one body, max it, leave Auto Skip off until you have seen the first boss timing. Skip is a City luxury. New lanes punish skip-on-wave-one harder than Easy does. Auto Skip.
6. After one clean clear, you may add a second role and raise difficulty or change maps — not both in the same queue.

Economy during a new-mode week

New queues often pay more and leak faster. That is not a reason to empty the altar. Keep a third of your coins using the Summoning cap so you can test a patch unit on City, not on a maze you cannot see. How to get coins is the farm checklist if the new mode is too expensive to learn hungry.

What we will not claim

• A specific unpublished mode name copied from Toilet Tower Defense chapters or All Star Tower Defense story acts.
• HP tables, wave counts, or “insane is 3x Easy coins.” No official payout sheet exists.
• That NEW MODE equals VIP. VIP is a 299 Robux product. The title tag is free advertising.
• That Cameraman cannot clear a new Easy layout. Until you try, assume place-then-max still applies.

After the probe
