Alliance Tower Defense Roblox x2 Game Speed Guide

Buy faster waves after City is free — not instead of place-then-max.

Last updated:

Game Speed Pass

Alliance Tower Defense sells x2 Game Speed as a Robux product (id listed in the universe pass API, 149 Robux, on sale as of the 27–30 August 2026 checks). Players search this page when a Shorts clip clears Crazy Mode or Insane Mode at double pace and the shop button looks tempting. This tool page is the buying advice. It is not a promise that speed equals skill.

Do not buy Game Speed until you can clear 1-player Easy City with a maxed Cameraman. If you cannot, faster waves only hide that you never learned place-then-max. Use the Easy City walkthrough first.

What the pass claims

Faster match pacing. Waves arrive sooner. Sessions end sooner when you are already winning. Sessions end sooner when you are already leaking, too — you just fail faster.

The public API description field was empty at last check. Screenshot the in-game perk card before you pay. Prices move; re-open the live shop.

Worth it when

  • Easy City (and ideally Medium) is free muscle memory.
  • You farm the same queue for coins and want more clears per hour, especially under a title 1.5x or 2x window (Events and passes).
  • You already keep a summon reserve (Summoning).
  • You accept that Crazy and Insane still need funded maxes — speed does not place units for you.

Skip when

  • You are still leaking Easy.
  • You are about to probe a brand-new map or Camera Lab for the first time (Maps and modes).
  • You think Game Speed replaces Auto Skip discipline.
  • You are buying it to “unlock” Crazy. It does not.

Game Speed versus other passes

ProductJob
x2 Game Speed (149)Faster pacing
x2 COINS! (99)More coins per successful clear — usually the better first buy
x2 LUCK! (199)Summon odds, not clear speed
VIP PASS (299)Perk card dependent — VIP pass
GOLDEN BAT! (39)Limited unit, not a speed multiplier

Decision tree for the whole shop: Gamepass guide. Most farmers should consider x2 COINS! before Game Speed.

How to test after you buy

  1. Queue 1-player Easy City at the new pace.
  2. Confirm you can still max Cameraman before the first scary wave.
  3. Only then bring the pace to Medium, Crazy, or Insane.
  4. If you leak earlier than before, turn the pass off if the UI allows, or slow your hands — the pass is not a skill patch.

Codes and title multipliers

Game Speed is not a promo code. BIG and dead strings live on the Codes Hub and Expired codes. A title 1.5x already multiplies coins; stacking Game Speed only helps if you finish the queue.

What we will not claim

  • Exact seconds-per-wave tables.
  • That Game Speed is required for the Leaderboard.
  • Scripts that “unlock Game Speed.” Script safety.

Sibling tools: Coin farming tool, Gamepass guide, VIP pass. Learn City at 1x. Buy speed only when 1x is boring because you already win.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How much is x2 Game Speed in Alliance Tower Defense?

149 Robux and on sale as of the late August 2026 pass API checks. Confirm the live shop before you pay.

Should I buy Game Speed before x2 COINS!?

Usually no. Coins multiply every successful clear. Speed only helps if you already finish those clears.

Does Game Speed help beat Crazy or Insane?

Only if your placement already works at normal speed. Faster waves make bad maxes fail sooner.

Is Game Speed a code?

No. It is a Robux gamepass. Codes are free strings in the Shop box.

Do I need Game Speed to play?

No. The Cameraman Easy City loop is free.
